A breath of fresh air! While I don't relish coming up with a mnemonic to memorize the 9 Events, I enjoyed reading this chapter. ...more later...
Well, now it's later... Gagne's 5 categories of Learning Outcomes and 9 Events of Instruction provide a framework within which I can take an objective look at what I want to teach and how I am planning to teach it. It's usefull---immediately so, as a thorough knowledge of Gagne's research and writings is not needed to utilize his frameworks. Refreshing.
